That being said, your TV will just become a "second monitor" once you connect it to your PC via the monitor out connection. That might be DVI, HDMI, or something else. You might need to pick up a DVI to HDMI cable. Note: this post is about streaming media from your PC to TV through your local network (ethernet) so you don't have to worry about the connections but I don't think you are talking about that.
